JoAnne's design wall Monday 1/28/13

My friend, JoAnne, just finished her Bali Stars top. It is a Judy Niemeyer pattern. She asked me to post it for her and to ask for comments (she doesn't blog). Her approach to setting the colors is different from the pattern. Do you like it? Thanks for visiting. See other walls at Judy's

It is absolutely beautiful. I don't like the quilts where colors are arranged in rows. But these are grouped very attractively.

Stunning; gorgeous! I am working (struggling) my way through J.N.'s Bali bed runner. You have done well with this pattern!

I think it is lovely!
Very nice!! I did this one in blues and yellows on a white background with 50 rings for my inlaws anniversary. Great to see a different rendition!!

This is beautiful! I love how the colors flow into each other. I keep saying I'm going to try a Niemeyer pattern, but haven't done it yet. I was looking through my pattern stash to see if I have one (other than a table runner pattern) and don't seem to have one yet. Several of Karen Stone who has a similar feel.

I challenged myself to try curved piecing and a double wedding ring a little over a year ago. I don't know what I was afraid of. They aren't that difficult, just need patience.
